Cool thing
#1: Sierra was officially accepted into grad school and offered a sweet research assistantship, which will provide funding for her studies! Way to go Sierra! You worked really freaking hard for this and totally deserve it!
Cool thing #2: Laurel & Freddie paddled like 20-some miles on the Mississippi River! Oh yeah, and they got engaged. HURRAY!
Cool thing #3:
My nephew Liam won 2nd place in a "Cutest Baby" contest! (Clearly the 1st place baby paid off a judge.)

I agree with you there Karen, the 1st place baby had to have paid off the judges. I think Liam and his parents are happy with 2nd place though—would have been happy even without a placement as we all know that Liam is definitely the cutest baby there is.

Congrats to the doers of Cool Things #1,2 and 3. Seems like there should be a Dr. Seuss book about their accomplishments.
