Hey - nice work! I checked the Star Tribune link and got to see you on the news video - way cool (or way cold?)! And Peter's photo was great, very artistic. Just like your wedding photos!

Very interesting! People must really care about the river to go out in such freezing weather to see it with the water level dropped. It was a chance to see the river run free, sort of, at least. There's something kind of fascinating in being able to see what's normally hidden under 13 feet of water, it's even more interesting when it tells a bit of the the history of the city.

I can imagine that coordinating the tours was no small job. Well done! You really nare a friend of the Mississippi, and helping people see more and learn more about the river will help it make new friends!

HOLY COW! This is absolutely fantastic--I sure wish I had been there. The links are just amazing and so interesting. I'm going to be running late all day now because I wanted to see each one. One just led me to another and I just wanted to keep right on going. You did an amazing job with this. You should have enough warm fuzzies to carry you through the rest of the winter and your broom ball games from the work you did here, and knowing you, I just bet you kept those Park Service people busy with all your questions.
